CLT collaborates with each client on an individual basis to produce designs that are classic, withstanding, and creatively individual. The bag that will live with you and age in the best possible way. These bags are made to last as well as reflect the beauty of leather and time. We consider patina, as well as how love and wear condition leather as a material. CLT is also wildly creative in the way it approaches surface, simple design, hang, and strap comfort.

CLT uses American sourced and tanned leather and the best hardware finishings. 

CLT Bags is Caitlin Lundy Troutman.  Having grown up Missoula, Montana, and Portland, Oregon, her design reflects her relationship with vintage, handcrafts, landscape, and a passion and expertise in sewing and leatherwork.

Once we begin a client collaboration we will work to create a bag with design and durability that will last for years while always maintaining design relevancy.

We ask that you begin this process in thinking of what the main use for your bag will be. Think about what kind of style you portray…..

• Are you looking for classic design or abstract shape
• Do you wear it over the shoulder, cross body, or on the arm
• Do you carry books, a sweater and a water bottle, or do you carry light and change bags often

All leather and hardware is sourced for the individual bag, and may take time to get exactly what you desire. Design also is a time factor.

Leather stretches and wears with use. Within our abilities, we will repair anything we can with the purchase of the bag.. We use the best zippers, but if they break we will replace them. Sending the bag back to us, we will make it a priority to repair what we can and return it to you.
